Career Advising Two Students

How to Connect with Advisor-Coaches

The Office of Academic Advising and Success Coaching is currently operating remotely.  We are fully available for student meetings. All first-year students are assigned to an advisor-coach.

Connect with your advisor-coach via Zoom (video conferencing), Mongoose (text messaging), email, or by telephone. Schedule an appointment with your advisor-coach (click the name).  Select which communication platform you prefer along with your preferred day and time.

If you are an upperclass or graduate student interested in connecting with a coach, complete an inquiry with our coach partners HERE. Coaches can support you around a wide-range of topics ranging from balancing life and school, managing transition to online learning, to more urgent stressors such as food or housing insecurity, mental or physical health, and much more. Non-first year students should connect with their academic advisor for advising-related questions, like course selection, major requirements, and academic policies.

Our Mission

Loyola’s Office of Academic Advising and Success Coaching offers support services to full-time students enrolled in the university’s undergraduate colleges (Business, Music & Media, and Arts & Sciences).  Our staff of professional advisor-coaches works to fulfill the teaching and learning mission of higher education at Loyola, assisting students in their quest to become members of Loyola’s community, to think critically about their roles and responsibilities as students, and to prepare them to be educated citizens of a democratic society and a global community dedicated to a life of learning and service undertaken for and with others.
