Career Coach
Abby serves as a Career Coach for the Career Development Center and has spent her career dedicated to helping students of diverse backgrounds reach their full potential. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from West Virginia University in Sociology as well as a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Louisiana State University. While at LSU, Abby worked as a Graduate Assistant with the Office of Career Services where she assisted students with all aspects of the job search process. After graduating and moving to New Orleans in 2013, Abby worked briefly as a mental health counselor before volunteering as an Americorps member at a local K-12 school. That experience led her into classroom teaching for several more years. Abby joined Loyola in May of 2021 and is excited to be back in career services where she can assist students with making the decisions that will shape their futures.
