The Career Development Center has many resources and services available to alumni. 

Individual Appointments

Alumni within 12 months of their graduation date have full access to individual appointments with our team of career coaches. To schedule an appointment, visit the appointment page on Handshake or email career@loyno.edu

Virtual Walk-Ins

Virtual Walk-In hours are available Monday-Thursdays, 11:00AM-1:00 PM. Virtual Walk-In hours are brief (15 minute or less) 1-on-1 meetings with a career coach for quick career-related questions or overview of any of our online resources. All virtual walk-in appointment occur via Zoom. Click here during virtual walk-in hours. You will be placed into a waiting room and one of our career coaches will be with you as soon as they are available. Walk-ins are handled on a first come, first served basis. 

Virtual Resume & Cover Letter Drop Off 

Submit your resume and/or cover letter here. A career coach will provide edits and feedback via email within 2-3 business days.  

Career Fairs, Recruiting Events, and Workshops

All alumni are eligible to attend Career Fairs, employer information tables/sessions, and workshops. For a comprehensive list of these events, please visit our events calendar in Handshake. You can also view events using the EVENTS + PROGRAMS tab at the top of this page.

Loyola Online Resources

Handshake - Loyola’s online job and internship board. Currently there are more than 6,000 job and internship opportunities posted in Handshake. New opportunities will be added every day!

CareerShift - Recognizing the need for more systematic, effective tools for online job hunters, CareerShift was created to help job seekers successfully navigate the published and HIDDEN job market to find career opportunities. This resource allows students to search for available job and internship opportunities nationwide. CareerShift searches all public URLs for opportunities meeting your search criteria and places them all in 1-user friendly format.

GoinGlobal - GoinGlobal helps new and experienced job seekers find opportunities both at home and abroad. As the market leader in online career and employment resources for more than 16 years, their website has helped millions of new and experienced professionals expand their horizons.

ArtSearch - The publication from the Theatre Communication Group for full-time, part-time, seasonal, year-round and internship opportunities in the performing arts. Fine Arts Career Services subscribes. Contact the Career Development Center for the username and password.

Use the Jobs tab to search for and apply for jobs, get information about companies you're interested in, and much more. You can set up notifications and get emails when there are new job postings.

USAJobs.gov - The best resource for information on federal jobs. USAJobs features up-to-date postings from a variety of professional fields and a wide number of government agencies.

Glassdoor - Glassdoor is a career community that helps people find jobs and companies recruit top talent. Members can see the latest job listings and get access to user-generated content, including company-specific salary reports, ratings and reviews, interview questions, and more.
