VIRTUAL WALK-IN HOURS

Virtual Walk-In hours will resume in August when the Fall 2021 Semester is back in session.

During the Virtual Walk-In hours, you can gain access to one of our career coaches through Zoom by following this link. One of our career coaches will be monitoring the Waiting Room and start your appointment soon after your arrival.

During these appointments, career coaches will answer questions related to your resume, cover letter, and job and internship search, as well as briefly troubleshoot Handshake questions you may have. These meetings are designed to be quick, approximately 15 minutes in length. But if you need further assistance at the conclusion of your walk-in appointment, the career coach will help you schedule a follow-up to ensure you get the needed assistance.

Career Fairs & Recruiting Events

Career Fairs

The Career Development Center hosts several career fairs each academic year for Loyola students and alumni. These fairs are designed to give students the opportunity to explore career options, meet prospective employers, learn about job and internship opportunities, and practice professional behavior. Employer of the Day Information Tables

In addition to career fairs, we also facilitate student-employer connections through our regular Employer of the Day Information Tables. Most Tuesdays and Thursdays during the academic year, the Career Development Center will host an employer partner to serve as our featured "Employer of the Day." From 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., the employer sets up at one of the tables on the 1st Floor of the Danna Student Center to chat with students about their organization and their current or anticipated full- or part-time job or internship opportunities. Students are encouraged to drop-by between classes to engage with employers in a casual way. To see a list of scheduled, Employer of the Day Information Tables, visit the Handshake events calendar by clicking here

Virtual Recruiting Events, Information Sessions, & Workshops

Sometimes employer partners from across the country are unable to come to campus but still want to connect Loyola students and alumni. In these cases, we work with these employers to coordinate a virtual recruiting event, information session, or workshop. These events are listed on our Handshake events calendar and can been viewed by clicking here. Reference this calendar frequently! We add new events every week.
